Above are pictures of four of the seven bands Bleu has fronted from the late 1970s on through today as well as recent visual excerpts (without audio) of him performing with the band. His concept of working with extremely talented female musicians & singers is what he describes as a continuation of Jimi Hendrix's 'Electric Ladyland' concept.
Under the personal management & direction of entertainment mogul Russell Simmons in the early 1990s, Bleu was able to develop this concept while performing in top venues & touring across the globe bringing to light this vision while thrilling audiences. Also, in various incarnations, the show has opened for some of the industry's finest, including Mary Jane Girls, Tears For Fears, The Bangles, Club Nouveau, The Cure, Talking Heads, War, The Brothers Johnson, Ready For The World, The Psychedelic Furs, A-ha, The Ohio Players, New Birth & The S.O.S. Band to name a few.
This combination of high-level musicianship, shamanistic movements powered by gifted melodic female energy is a presentation that is not seen in today's entertainment industry.
It is a concept Bleu finds both musically & spiritually uplifting.
